Artist in Residence
My sister, Kathleen, will be arriving from Texas this Saturday and on Thursday, July 15, we will be traveling by ferry to Friday Harbor, Washington, and driving an hour from there to the beautiful B&B Family Lavender farm in Sequim. Kathleen, who paints the beautiful covers for my books, and I will once again be “artists in residence” at the farm during Lavender Festival days on the island. Book reading/signing to support the Voices of the Children (VOTC)
On Thursday, August 19, 2021, I will be doing a book reading and signing event to support the Voices of the Children (VOTC). This outstanding organization pairs teens around the world in collaborative arts projects to shine a light on humanitarian crises and to encourage community engagement and personal growth for these young people.
